A couple tips for WoW noobs

Feudalking here. I just wanted to give a few tips to all the WoW noobs out there today. I have been playing the game for around two years now and when I first started I knew nothing about the game. I wish I knew what I did now back then because it would of been alot easier. For instance I didnt even use the AH (auction house) on my first char till he was lvl 40! Also instead of focusing on one talent I spread em evenly out threw all the talents. Big mistake. So im am writing this article so hopefully people are not gunna be like me and make the same mistakes.

  1. First of all don’t be afraid to ask other players for help. It is a multiplayer game after all.
  2. Try to log off in a inn or main city. if you do you can enter a rested state that grants you 200 percent experiance for killing NPCs( or also refered to as mobs.)
  3. If you can’t figure out what you are supposed to do for a quest you can always go to web sites such http://www.thotbot.com/ or http://www.wowhead.com/. These sites are WoW databases and will often tell you where to go for a quest.
  4. If your ever short on gold you can always put those green items in the auction house(ah) for a bit of money. At the lower levels the gear might not be worth much but later on the price for them will grow.
  5. Another way to make money is finding someone you trust to dischant your greens for you. You can then sell the results of that in te ah which can sumtimes lead to more money then just selling the item itself.
  6. All so you should try to stick with one talent because you will get more benefits out of it then spreading em out over three talents.

Thats all the tips i can really offer. i know you more experianced players will know all this stuff already but im not writing it for you. I hope this information was helpfull and feel free to comment and give me feedback on this article.

I might be getting an iMac for Christmas (xD), and I was wondering how well an iMac with: 3.06GHz (Dual Core), 4GB 800MHz RAM, 512MB nVidia GeForce 8800 GS, could run WoW on high.

So how well do you think it will run WoW with all settings on high?

What’s a good pve server to start a new toon, horde side?

By good, I mean not a bunch of retarded trade chat conversations, good people to play with, not a lot of kids etc.

Basically the opposite of Ghostlands.

need to do something till wotlk comes out.
