World of Warcraft

I want them to download to my D drive, where I actually have the game downloaded because my C drive is full. How do I change where the patches download to?

Where exactly are you downloading them from?
If you open the game and it patches automatically, then it should be downloading the patch to inside your WoW directory. If you are downloading them online, just choose where you want to save the target file when you download it by right-clicking on the link.

You don’t have the option of selecting where the patch downloads initially since it just automatically pops into the download after log-in. What you might be able to do is just copy/paste the patch into whichever folder you need it in. Not sure if that will work, though. My brother-in-law has copied the patch to a CD and given it to me before so that I could avoid having to download it…so patches do have a certain level of portability to them.

I am a grade 11 student living in Canada and as you may have guessed im a fan of World of Warcraft. I got the game not much before the Burning Crusade came out and have been a fan ever since. Currently I am working on getting my lvl 70 char to 80 in my free time, as well as making this site of coarse. I am not taking any credit for the information put on the site as I have posted it from other locations and from other people's posts. I hope you enjoy the site and send me a e-mail if you have ideas on how I could improve the site.
