I take it that you are a ‘regular’ WoW player, and that you think that you ‘can’t’ attack Horde characters for some reason … so I have to ask if you are Alliance or Horde when you are playing? If you are Horde yourself, then the only fights you can have with other Horde players are ‘duels’ and no one can ‘die’ from them. If you are an Alliance character, though, you can ‘attack Horde players’ if you want … just be sure that you are not attacking a character that is ‘too high’ in level for you to fight alone (or for you and your party to fight) … and if that Horde character has a ‘double question mark’ instead of a level number, then you are probably going to ‘die’ several times during that ‘fight’ … Hope this helps you ‘decide’ what kind of ‘character’ you want to play … there are very few ’strictly PVP servers’ I know of, and my server (Misha, low population) has both PVP and ‘regular’ players and has both Horde and Alliance in both ‘categories.’ In fact, if I or my partner ‘attack a PVP player’ we turn ‘PVP’ while we are in the fight, and for five minutes afterward … even though we are basically ‘regular’ players.

it depends – you can still do pvp on a pve server via the battlegrounds (arathi, alterac and warsong) and whenever you see someone flagged pvp. also on the pve server there are certain pvp zone that you can do events in (plaguelands, silithus, all of the outlands (all higher level zones) (take the castle kind of things). but you’ll only be able to attack flagged players… same thing goes for attacking the opposing faction’s towns – you’ll meet heavy resistance from the guards, but should people flag to attack you, you can fight back.

on pvp you’ll always be able to pvp with everyone, but that goes both ways… some level 60 of the opposite faction can gank you when you’re leveling up, working on quests, or almost have that elite mob killed for a quest, etc.

personally i tried a pvp server and wasn’t a big fan… if i want pvp fixes, i prefer just going into the battlegrounds. but its all a matter of personal opinion –

    happy gaming!
