I am a grade 11 student living in Canada and as you may have guessed im a fan of World of Warcraft. I got the game not much before the Burning Crusade came out and have been a fan ever since. Currently I am working on getting my lvl 70 char to 80 in my free time, as well as making this site of coarse. I am not taking any credit for the information put on the site as I have posted it from other locations and from other people's posts. I hope you enjoy the site and send me a e-mail if you have ideas on how I could improve the site.

Mining is good at low levels, you can sell a stack of copper for 75s on my server. Herbing is good when you can get to un’goro and beyond.

I am a level 34 human warrior my professions used to be mining and blacksmithing butI realized that I wouldnt need to have these professions if i had a way to make more money. so, i changed my professions to skinning and herbalism and now i am a gatherer… I can make about 15 gold in 2 hrs. its not perfect because I lost my ability to blacksmith however I have plenty of gold to get my guild mates to make stuff.

Farming professions (mining, herbalism, skinning) or enchanting for disenchanting and/or jewelcrafting for prospecting.
I, myself, like the mining, jewelcrafting combo. You can sell your ore, or prospect it and get some nice jewels that sell for some nice gold.
Another thing you can do is sell or disenchant all the green/blue BoE items you pick up as drops.

Get a group of friends and go to Wailing Caverns. Its on the horde side but you can fish Deviate fish there which sells on my server for up to 5G a stack. It is time consuming, I usually get a deviate every 4-5 catches. I spent about 2 hours there and ended with 55 fish and made almost 15G. Not bad for no work. Just fish in the river past the first group of Dinosaurs. Other than that, the person that said go with mining/jewelcrafting is right. I choose that on an alt and by level 12 was already packing 40G. Just mine like crazy and prospect it. Wish my main was jewelcrafter but his blacksmith is too high to start over so I just send him the money. Good luck

I’d go w/herbalism and skinning. I think herbs sell more that ore…at least in my server. You can also grind humanoids since they tend to carry loot and good items. Right now I’m a lvl 40 lock and have over 200g. doesn’t hurt that locks get free mounts and I’m also cheap as hell
You really don’t have to buy stuff from the AH. Plenty of good gear doin qsts and especially in the dungeons.

Well, I’ve played WoW about a year now, and I’ve learned a lot of good professions. First, make sure you have Enchanting. With my 63 hunter I make 40gold off a stack of just 20 arcane dust. And with my 67 warrior that got banned I made some decent money with mining even though it was only level 275. Second, you can do something such as mining or herbalism. Make sure you have money for enchanting, because it costs a lot to get it up to a very high level. Make sure you switch while you’re a low level, that way you can grind exp and quest while getting your low level skills up.
The website I listed below is great also. It tells you everything about wow, it shows every item quest, npc, mob, etc in the game and shows you how to get to it or retrieve it.

Alright, there are many different ways to make good money on WOW you just need to figure out which way is the best for you. One of the easiest and quickest ways is to have two farming professions such as skinning and mining. This is one of the easier ways because when questing you will always come across either an animal you can skin or a place you can mine. Just gather your stacks and sell them on the AH. People will always need that stuff for their professions.
Other professions that will earn you really good money but take longer are Enchanting or Jewelcrafting. They are slow to go and frustrating because it takes a little longer to build them up enough to start making the good money but when you do, you will make a lot of gold on just a few items.
It all depends how much time and effort you want to put into it.
Hope it helped!
