they are partners, go mine some ore (Copper ore at your level) then head over to an anvil(presuming you have a Blacksmithing Hammer and other things needed) and get to work! Also try getting about roughly 30-40 copper ore before head back into town. makes it easier on you. =)

Either in your spell book, or an icon around your mini map, you have a tracking key (Find Ore) click that so that there will be yellow dots that show up on the mini map that will tell you where the ore is at. You need to have a minig pick in your inventory, not necessarily equipped, in order to mine. Start with copper, and your first few trys may fail, but try again.

Once you have mined some ore go to the forge, usually found near the blacksmithing trainers, and in your spell book choose “smelt ore” once you have smelted enough ore you can go to the spell book and choose blacksmithing and the recepies you have will tell you what you can make.

    Good Luck.

Mine ore along the ridges in the landscape of Elwynn Forest and then smelt it all up in Goldshire.

I am a grade 11 student living in Canada and as you may have guessed im a fan of World of Warcraft. I got the game not much before the Burning Crusade came out and have been a fan ever since. Currently I am working on getting my lvl 70 char to 80 in my free time, as well as making this site of coarse. I am not taking any credit for the information put on the site as I have posted it from other locations and from other people's posts.
