Does anyone know of a good world of warcraft database, thotbott seems to have mistakes and isn’t up to date.

I’ve done some informal comparisons of Wowhead.com, thottbot.com, wow.alakhazam.com, wowdb.com (from curse.com), and wowdigger.com (from worldofwar.net).
The best one overall is wowhead.com, since it has the most comprehensive list of items, mobs, NPCs, recipes and spells. It has nice summary info for instances and bosses. Wowhead also seems to gather and organize PTR info faster than other DBs.
Thottbot is comprehensive and has some stuff missing from wowhead, but very little more (mostly a few recipes). Thottbot used to be a good place for PTR info, but less people seem to be uploading for thottbot, so it is getting behind.
Maybe someday WowDB.com will be as good as wowhead, but it could take awhile. The curse folks say they are using wowhead as a model, but they haven’t come close to being equal yet and they need something to be better also.
WoWWiki may have some more detail and tips than wowhead, but I can tell you that alot of WoWWiki info is scraped from the other DBs, so unless someone takes the time to hand-type in info or someone makes an uploader AddOn that creates entries in WoWWiki, it will mostly be best for non-DB info (class/race/talent info, game mechanic details, guides, etc.).
So I would say wowhead.com.
