Hach M asked:

I am just curious to see some opinions on what the best mods are for mages in world of warcraft, pvp preferably. Don’t say “that 1 wher u hav the thing happen”, please name the mod.

There’s actually a good mod I used to use for my mage, it’s not too much of a pvp mod but its a sphere mod, called Cryolysis, I don’t know if it was updated since the last patch but its very nice, it shows poly timers and cooldowns of evocation and such, download it and other mods here:

    I recommend DoTimer.

As its name suggests, it is a timer mod, which displays how long your Frost Nova, Poly etc has left on a target-by-target basis (shows each targets name, as well as what spells you have on them), and also shows the remaining cooldown for items such as your hearthstone, mana gems, pots, and spells like Ice Block, Cold Snap, Presence of Mind, etc.

You can also ask it to warn you when particular spells are resisted by a target, break early, or when your target is immune.

This can help a lot in PvP when it’s sometimes shoot first and ask “Why didn’t that target take the spell?” later.

Several of my mage-friends use this addon, and it works quite well for them.

Currently I am working on getting my lvl 70 char to 80 in my free time, as well as making this site of coarse. I am not taking any credit for the information put on the site as I have posted it from other locations and from other people's posts.
