A leveling guide is a HUGE help to people that want to get through content quickly on their second or third characters, and don't care about missing out on other things. I highly recommend the following guides depending on if you're horde or alliance respectively. They are well-made, suited to the semi-recent xp changes, and best of all FREE! You could purchase the strategy guide to get maps, or download the Quest Helper addon, or log onto for help ... I don't know that you'd level any faster. It takes you the same amount of time for both of us to create a character and pick up the first quest; whoever gets done first is the one who finds their items more quickly and who kills faster.
