If you have a credit card or a bank card, you can buy the game from WorldOfWarcraft.com – the patches will download after you download the actual game.
I’d estimate, for World of Warcraft, The Burning Crusade, and Wrath of the Lich King, it would total around… $80. Once you buy your account offline, you can download the game and the patches for free at any time, so if you buy a new computer and want to play WoW on it, you could just go to WorldOfWarcraft.com and download the game again for free on that computer.

P.S. — Pick Horde, when you play! Horde rocks, Alliance are stuck up most of the time. And don’t listen to people, it’s rather hard to become a loser who stays on WoW 24/7, you get tired of sitting in a computer chair sometimes.
